KITA USA has a state-of-the-art plating line with laboratory-class equipment to plate very small components used in the semiconductor industry.
The small scale of the equipment and the cleanliness of the facility are a necessity to meet the needs of the semiconductor industry, and are quite atypical of most industrial plating lines. The entire closed-loop line is controlled by a centralized process control system. The plating line is used for both in-house production purposes, and for commercial customers in the semiconductor industry.
KITA USA started operations in Massachusetts in 2012. The investment in the new plating line is part of KITA’s long-range plan to increase manufacturing activities in the United States. KITA also has a plating line at their main factory location in Osaka, Japan.
