The 2018 Catalog includes new tip styles for the .4mm, .5mm and .8mm Pitch Marathon Pins.
We have also introduced a .4mm High Temperature / High Current Double-ended pin.

Cohu Completes Acquisition of Kita
On January 5, 2017, Cohu, Inc. announced the completion of its previously disclosed acquisition of Kita Manufacturing of Osaka, Japan and Kita USA of Attleboro, Massachusetts.
Cohu is a leading supplier of semiconductor test and inspection handlers, micro-electro mechanical system (MEMS) test modules, test contactors and thermal sub-systems used by global semiconductor manufacturers and test subcontractors.
Kita is a leading supplier of spring probes used for semiconductor component testing and ATE interface products.
Kita will continue to operate from Osaka, Japan and Attleboro, Massachusetts (USA) designing, manufacturing, and supporting spring probe products.

Cohu Announces Purchase of Kita
On Nov 15, 2016, Cohu announced the purchase of Kita Manufacturing of Osaka, Japan and Kita USA of Attleboro, Massachusetts pending standard audit and regulatory requirements with completion expected in early January 2017.
Cohu, with annual revenue of approximately $ 270M, is a leader in the test and inspection handler market with major operations in the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia and the Philippines, and has the largest global customer support organization in the industry. Semi-automatic or fully-automatic handlers are used to precisely place semiconductor devices into Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) at high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facilities.

Construction is complete
Construction of the addition to the KITA Manufacturing facility, in Osaka Japan is finished. With the new equipment that has been installed, screw machine capacity has increased 15 percent, with E-Barrel production increasing 50 percent. The new addition has added 20 percent more manufacturing floor space to the facility.
